And in Saudi Arabia? More than 117,000.
Floward was founded in Kuwait in 2017 by Abdulaziz Bassem Al Loughani, one of the founders of Talabat.
With a Saudi partner.
The idea: the flower market in the Gulf was almost entirely offline.
So they built everything: importing from farms, arranging, and a refrigerated delivery fleet.
During COVID, it grew tenfold. According to the company, revenue in the first 100 days of 2021 exceeded all of 2020.
In 2022, it delivered 50 million flowers.
In 2023, at the LEAP conference in Riyadh, it announced a $156 million round, led by Saudi investors.
Today, it is headquartered in Riyadh.
It said it is preparing to list on Tadawul and hired global banks.

Valuation? Undisclosed.
