Athaal is a Saudi angel investment group based in Jeddah, founded in 2018. Its members invest their own money for minority stakes in early-stage startups.

Each investor makes their own decision, while the group handles due diligence, negotiates terms, closes the deal and tracks the portfolio after investment. A directory published in 2023 estimated that its investors had put in more than $1.5 million.
For clarity
We did not find documented activity after 2023, and its website athaal.co returned an error when checked in October 2026. The founding year differs between sources (2017 or 2018).
